Posted By on January 15, 2021

The Community of Character Committee is offering a free online tutoring program entitled “Tutoring with Character” for students in kindergarten to fifth grade. The tutoring will take place from 3:30 to 4:30 pm every Wednesday from January 13 to March 24.

The Community of Character is a City committee that is run and operated entirely by the youth volunteers all in middle school or higher-grade levels. They pride themselves on upholding benevolent character traits like Unity, Integrity, Citizenship, and more. Trish Kelley, the Mayor of Mission Viejo, has stated that members of the committee “create a positive environment in our community,” with their emphasis on good character values and that with them, the committee creates “a stronger, healthier, and safer community.”

The free tutoring will focus on all of the required subjects such as Math, History, Science and English. For more information and to sign-up for this free service, email Tutoringofcharacter@gmail.com.
