New Paint Schemes and Discounts

The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) and Management have reached out to Behr Paint/Home Depot and requested a line-up of colors, names, and stock numbers that reference their exterior paint selections for MVEA’s 37 standard preapproved colors schemes. You can now access the Behr/Home Depot color schemes with this link: Behr-Home Depot Color Schemes You may continue to access the Dunn Edwards and Vista Paint color selections by using the links to their websites below.
Submission of an Architectural Application (no fee) is required for exterior painting even if repainting the existing color from an old preapproved selection or one of the new MVEA schemes. The Committee continues to meet 2-3 times per month and will turnaround the application as soon as possible. Keep in mind, per the CC&Rs Article VIII Section 2, the association has 60 days upon receipt of an application to notify the member of their architectural decision.

If you are interested in viewing the actual color online, please click on the link below and search the paint name in the box with the magnified glass. Click here to access the Vista website. After the Color Palette Archive page pops up, type in the zip code in the Search bar, select Mission Viejo Environmental, and then you will see the different scheme options available. You may also visit the local Vista Paint Store for a Scheme Book with the approved schemes for MVEA.
