Drive Through Food Drive Set for Jan. 16 at the Murray Center-OCTA Bus Turnaround

The City of Mission Viejo will continue to host Drop-and-Go food collection drives from 9-11 am on the third Saturday of the month at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center. Mark your calendar for the January 16 drive benefiting Project Access, which provides support for local low-income families. Please check the City’s website for more information. This event is not affiliated with and/or sponsored by MVEA.

Adopted Association Property Tree Trimming and Removal/Replacement Request Policy & Form

The Board of Directors adopted the “Association Property Tree Trimming and Removal/Replacement Request Policy & Form” last night at the December 17, 2020 Board Meeting. You can view the adopted policy on the Resident Portal by logging on to resident.actionlife.com or you can contact Action Property Management and request a copy be emailed to you free of charge.

2021 Annual Election- Location Change

MVEA received notice that the Norman P. Murray Center will remain closed during the month of January 2021 due to the current ‘stay at home orders’. So, with that said the January 7, 2021 Annual Election will be held outdoors at Lake Mission Viejo. The meeting will be held in the snack bar area at the picnic tables underneath the sail shades. The meeting is scheduled to take place at 5:00pm. Please take necessary COVID precautions and wear a mask and wash/sanitize your hands if you plan on attending. Please do not attend the meeting if you feel ill or are running a fever. When present please properly social distance 6-ft, do not congregate in one large group. Members, please use your lake pass to gain entry. Don’t forget it may be chilly outside so please wear a jacket and bring gloves if need be. The Annual Election will not be televised over Zoom due to no outdoor WIFI connection. Thank you

2021 Committee Volunteers

If you are interested in volunteering your time to serve on one of the Association’s Committee’s in the year 2021, please fill out the required “Committee Volunteer Form” and submit it to Senior Community Manager, Tiffany Kaldenbach no later then January 11, 2021 by noon so it can be reviewed by the Board and a decision can be made on January 21, 2021 at the General Session Board Meeting. Below is a list of the current Committees:

  • Architectural Review
  • Budget/Finance Committee
  • Landscape Committee
  • Contract Review Committee
